Dental Receptionist required to join the SDS team and help the surgery continue its growth.

SDS is a one-year-old set up dental surgery with the ethos of wellness of patients & staff alongside serving the community it sits in. Sited in an area of outstanding beauty, relaxing area with well-known local eateries sited around the surgery, with plenty of areas to go and relaxing with calming walks.

The job will entail being aboard and helping the surgery to continual flourishing from its zero beginnings and continue its growth towards its full potential.

Practice

Strangford Dental Surgery is sited in the main square of the village Strangford, Co Down, 8.6 miles from the town of Downpatrick in an area of outstanding beauty, it’s a relaxing area with well-known local eateries sited around the surgery, with plenty of areas to have a relaxing, calming walks. Plenty of free parking is available around the surgery.

Offering dental treatments in a modern environment with a fabulous small team of experienced dentist, award winning hygienist, dental nurses, receptionists & practice manager. SDS patients are mixed (NHS, Private, Denplan)

Duties & responsibilities

Greeting & looking after patients before, during & after their time at the clinic

Dealing with patients enquires via email, telephone & social media.

Making appointments

Taking payments etc

Communicate effectively with other team members & patients.

Referral patients

Essential Criteria

Strong friendly communications skills

Good organisation skills

Confident in dealing with people.

Excellent multitask skills.

Desirable Experience

Previous Dental or reception-based employment

Pay

Determined by candidate’s experience.
