Dental Nurse/Receptionist - Maghera

Due to practice expansion we have an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Full Time Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our team in Maghera. Working between the hours of 8:30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate would be a motivated individual who can work well and efficiently in a team, has sound organisational abilities, computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills who can show empathy to patients.

As a member of our nursing and reception team, your main duties will include assisting the dentist, chair side nursing, keeping the surgery clean, developing x-rays and sterilisation of instruments. You will also be required to work on reception where your main duties will include welcoming patients arriving at the practice, answering the phone and ensuring the appointment system is efficient and accurate. Ensuring records and forms are filled out and submitted correctly and timely, liaising with labs and other organisations such as supply companies, encouraging prompt payment of patient fees, and other duties as necessary for the efficient running of the practice. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital.

Experience, a NEBDEN qualification and GDC registration is preferred but training can be given to work towards these if required.
